Leyla, was a photographic crush for me. One of my friend (Imogen) took a photography of her in Berlin. When I visited Imogen in Berlin, I ask her about this actress she once photographed during short movie shoot. This is how I met Leyla, an evening, not really planed, at her place.
  I realize that most of my photographic story start with an encounter. That leads to a photographic encounter, and most of the time a friendship follow. I am not saying that is why I am taking photo of people. But this has definitely become a way to connect differently with people. Something a bit out of time. A photo shoot is always for me out of time. How long does that photo shoot with Leyla last? I am not sure. I just remember that at some point there where not enough light outside that I had to take some photos at very low speed, that’s why some of them ended up a it blurry. But that doesn’t really bother me.
